We are extremely fortunate in having a shirt sponsor come from forward from the Champion Hill terraces, who has sponsored the upcoming Hamburg tour kit, which will have the charity 'Medicins Sans Frontiers' which is 'Doctors Without Borders' on the front, at their request.
The design, as shown in the main photo, above, is a modern twist on the traditional look of our kit throughout the post-First World War period, which included our first visit to the Adolf-Jager Kampfbahn, which was at Easter 1925.
These kits are unique to this trip, and have the Altona 93 crest on the left as you look at it, with the new Hamlet badge, based on the original of the Club, on the other side. A truly special memento of our 125th anniversary celebrations in Germany.
There are no replicas for sale, and whoever successfully bids for them will have a unique piece of history.
We are opening a CLOSED AUCTION that begins at SIX O'CLOCK tonight, Wednesday 21st June 2018 & bidding must cease at SIX O'CLOCK in the evening on Monday 2nd July 2018.
Successful bidders will be notified on Tuesday 3rd July 2018 & payment MUST BE RECEIVED within 72 hours of the bid being successful, or the item will be offered to the next bidder in line. Payments will be received for the charity through the '12th Man' Bank account, but EVERY PENNY RAISED will be forwarded to Medicins Sans Frontiers
Each winner will receive the shirt, shorts and socks from one of the starting line-up from the match on Sunday 15th July against Altona 93, and if you are one of the successful bidders who are travelling the kit will be presented to you after the match in the Altona 93 Club House, otherwise you can pick them up on Wednesday 18th July, at our home pre-season game with Charlton Athletic, on Wednesday 18th July, at the KNK Stadium.
(Please note: some of the socks are pre-designed as a stocking, with no feet, as this is the way the players prefer them, and they will be in a Pink & Blue hooped style, others will be 'tradional' socks, with toes. You will not be able to request 'full socks or stockings without feet', it is pot luck.)
HOW TO BID:
All bids are to be received via email to email@example.com with TOUR SHIRT BID in the subject line.
You MUST state your full name, and contact phone number, as well as a delivery address, if you are not travelling to Germany yourself.
The minimum bid per kit is FIFTY POUNDS for the game worn shirt, shorts and socks.
You may bid on the individual kit numbers, with the sizes as follows:
1) Shirt size LARGE
2) Shirt size LARGE
3) Shirt size LARGE
4) Shirt size LARGE
5) Shirt size EXTRA LARGE
6) Shirt size EXTRA LARGE
7) Shirt size MEDIUM
8) Shirt size LARGE
9) Shirt size EXTRA LARGE
10) Shirt size LARGE
11) Shirt size MEDIUM
The highest bid for each shirt number will win the kit with that number on the back.
However, we are ALSO accepting general bids for ANY shirt from 2 to 11, and if ANY of these bids are successful they will BEAT the lowest bid on a numbered shirt.
So if you want to bid on ANY shirt simply state 'ANY' as opposed to the shirt number.
We shall list an update on bids after the first week, and again, during the weekend leading up to the closing date, but NO NAMES OF BIDDERS WILL BE DISCLOSED.
We look forward to receiving some good bids on this special once in a lifetime kit, and hope it will raise lots of money for a really worthy charity.
