The Mayor of Southwark's Common Good Trust

By Liam Hickey

This weekend saw representatives from The Mayor of Southwark's Common Good Trust attend our home game against Dartford.

As always, the Hamlet faithful dug deep into their pockets and donated spare change into collection buckets.

We are pleased to announce that we raised £270 for the charity.

The Mayor of Southwark's Common Good Trust charity helps poor and needy people who live in or have strong links to the London Borough of Southwark. They help both individuals and families on the basis of need alone and regardless of age, faith, gender, nationality, ethnic origin, gender or sexuality.

Support is usually provided in the form of small grants for buying items that are essential for meeting basic needs and living in dignity.
