Following on from the success of our walk from Selhurst Park to Champion Hill during pre-season, we will be running our second Walk and Talk event next weekend.

On Saturday 15th February 2020, fans are invited to join fellow supporters on a pre match walk from Welling Utd to Champion Hill.

The purpose of the walk is to raise awareness for mental health and male suicide. Shockingly, male suicide is the biggest killer of men aged under 45 in the UK, equating to around 84 men a week. Men in particular find it hard to talk and reach out when they need help and support.

We’ll be meeting at Welling’s Park View Road Stadium at 8.30am and departing at 9am. The approximate 10 mile walk will include a number of stop offs along the route. The plan for the walk can be found here.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us for all of or some of the walk. We look forward to seeing you next Saturday.
