AFOLABI ‘DIPO’ AKINYEMI: Strong and skilful 23-year-old striker who transferred from Stevenage Borough at the beginning of March 2018, following successful loan spells at Champion Hill in each of the previous two seasons. He scored twice in a momentous 3-1 win at Billericay on his ‘return’ debut and finished the season by netting the decisive penalty in the play-off final which gained Hamlet promotion to the National League South. Originally with Potters Bar Town, he made 16 appearances for Stevenage and also had loan spells at St. Albans City, Billericay Town and Bishop’s Stortford. Leading scorer with 18 goals last season.
