P5 lift the trophy after an excellent, consistent performance against strong opposition

Sunday 1st May saw a small but strong band of players turn up at the now traditionally 'sunny' Creiff and Strathearn annual festival of rugby.
Their campaign began with a confident 8-3 win over the hosts. They then saw off Kinross (much to the oppositions surprise methinks)with strength and excellent passing a team work. The third victim was MacLaren which then left Dundee Eagles. With 4 straight wins under their belt all that was left was Stewarts Melville in the final and the rest is history. 5-2 sent them packing.
The strength in our teams performance was 4 fold. 1 - team work, 2- strong defence which just got better and better with every game, no-one scoring more than 4 tries against us,3- passing the ball out of trouble to well placed team mates finished of with 4-some strong running.
We should go into our final 2 games with confidence!

I'm sure I speak for every adult there when I say how proud we were of the team, their attitude and effort a credit to the club. I'm sure i speak for the kids when i thank the parents for their brilliant support on the day - but kids i warn you.....there is threat of people bringing pom poms next time!!

Details for next weekend are being put together as I type and will be forwarded to you asap.

Go Dunfy!!
