First Team Manager Sam Ralph has acted to bolsters the management team

First Team Manager Sam Ralph has acted to bolster the management team with the additions of Billy Hammond (Joint Manager) Paris Simmons (Coach) Tom Leggit (Goalkeeping Coach) Olivia Ward (Physio).

Sam said of the appointments…

It’s fantastic to have the support of a group of people with the experience these have and to cap it off there all great characters too that understand what the club want delivered through the first team in the up coming season.

Billy joined us after leaving West Bridgford with just 5 games of last season to play to support myself in the run in after the departure of Jack Jeys from his head coach role. Whilst Billy and I had not worked together before I had been a part of the same veterans team a few seasons back, as I thought would happen we gelled really quickly as have a similar style of management and also the same desire to be successful. It’s great to confirm Billy as Joint Manager moving forwards.

Paris joins us after recently managing NSL Premier side Awsworth Villa alongside brother Greg. Myself and Billy met with Paris a few weeks ago and it was clear after one meeting that Paris would be perfect for us. Not only has he played to the highest level he is a qualified competent coach with management experience so will bring that experience into the club which will help myself and Billy tremendously when reviewing ours and opposition shape, tactics and with game management.

Tom I have known for years and joins us after spending the last 10 years at local rivals Clifton All Whites. I understand and respect how much of a big decision it was for Tom to leave a club he has been a key member of for such a long time and am excited to have him on board to work with our goalkeepers at training and on match days. Tom again has great experience of this level of football and opposing teams so will be key in helping us prepare on a match day.

Liv joined us last season and will continue in her role as physio in the upcoming season, player welfare is vital in my opinion and Liv has been a joy to work with since she came in, the players like and more importantly respect her and she does a fantastic job both at training and on a match day ensuring the lads are prepared correctly and delivering treatment when required before, during and after a game along with supporting some players with rehabilitation already which again is testament to her professionalism.
