Behind Every Season Is a Team Off the Pitch

As we prepare for another big year in red and black, meet the team making it all happen behind the scenes at Duns RFC

Derek Simpson leads as Club President and also covers Secretary and Fixtures duties — if it needs doing, Derek’s on it.

Nikki Anderson remains as our Business Development Manager, Treasurer, and Assistant Child Protection Officer, keeping the club safe and growing.

James Thompson stays on as Rugby Development Officer and Minis Fixtures Secretary bringing energy and ideas to help the game thrive and support players at all levels.

Richard Hume leads the rugby side as Director of Rugby and First XV Coach, working closely with captains Scott Millar, David Hutchison, and vice-captain Adam Davison.

Kirsty Millar’s doing a great job with the juniors as Minis Convenor, Colin Glass continues as Child Protection Officer, ensuring a safe club environment.

Our Management Committee — Duncan, Peter, Stephen, Neil, Lynn, Aaron, Isla, and Jodie — help keep everything running smoothly.

Players matter, but so do the planners and doers behind the scenes. That’s what makes Duns RFC special — a true One Club effort.
