With Martin Lewis stepping down after 5 years as Chairman, Dunvant stalwart and Assistant Treasurer Geoffrey Sambrook was unanimously elcted as our new Chairman for a period of 2 years. With Geoff stepping down as Assistant Treasurer, Paul Gammons makes a welcome return to our Commitee as Assistant Treasurer after a break of 7 years when he was formerly Assistant Secretary. Re-elected as unnopposed for a further 2 years were President Dorian Samuel, Treasurer Howard Thomas, Assistant Secretary Roger Knight, Fixture Secretary Gerald Roberts and Committee members Selwyn Davies and Ted Rees.In a further change current Vice Chairman Richard Lewis is handing over the reins of Club Safeguarding Officer to Committee man Nick Tregoning.
The six candidates for co-option onto Committee in the 6 available spaces for a period of 12 months at the next Committee meeting are Chris Arnold, Andy Warren, James Richards, Steve Britten, Anthony Piper and Martin Lewis, all of whom make significant contributions to the success of Dunvant Rugby Club.
Newly and unanimously elected as Life Members of Dunvant Rugby Club were President Dorian Samuel and former Head Coach Mark Perdue.
