With the loss of all games, tournaments, cup finals etc that we normally host at this time of year, Dunvant RFC now has no source of income whilst we still have obligations to meet and many maintenance tasks to prepare the club for next season. For example, we now need to carry out maintenance on our 3 pitches using over 100 tonnes of sand and several tonnes of grass seed and fertilizer in the coming weeks. We also have to pay our excellent groundsman to do this work. We cannot do this without financial support from our members.
One easy way our members can support us is to join our 201 club. Since September 2009 our monthly prize draws have paid out over £96,000 in prize money whilst earning over £97,000 for Dunvant RFC. At the moment our monthly prize fund stands at £650 with 10 prizes from £25 to £300 in months 1 and 2 and a single quarterly prize of £650.As the number of members increases the monthly prize money rises proportionately to £1000.
To join our 201 club only costs £10 per month or an annual payment of £120
Please help your club by subscribing only £10 a month with 84 prizes annually going to a maximum of 201 members, a great win ratio for you for only £10 a month whilst helping your club in this time of crisis. There is no limit to the number of memberships you or your family can hold up to our maximum of 201 members.
The 201 Club Draw is normally held at the Club during our Carling Quiz Night on the last Friday of each month. Because of our current lock down the next draw will be held by Club Secretary Paul Loughlin with wife Suzanne at home on Friday 10th April.
