Another great way to help: for every Christmas tree bought through the club we'll receive a £12 donation!

Former England International, Tom May, has teamed up with a Christmas tree farm in Scotland to offer members and local communities a way in which they can help their club in these difficult times. They usually supply trees to big retailers and they are now offering rugby club members the chance to buy their excellent quality 6' Nordmann Fir trees. The best bit ? For every tree sold through us the club will receive £12!

For us to take part we need a minimum order of 40, and we need to place the order by noon on Monday 23 November.

The trees cost £45, and we will be asking members to pay for their tree by Wednesday 27 November, via our Crowdfunder campaign. This is a simple online card purchase and also has the added advantage of helping us towards our £20,000 target. Each tree sold will bring us £12, so even if we only order the minimum of 40 our club will receive £480!

Trees will be delivered w/e 6 December, ready for collection on a first come first served basis. These trees are for the commercial market so are excellent quality (as can be seen in the picture above) but should there be any issue with quality of the trees they are happy to exchange them.

The scheme is open to all, so please do share the offer with family and friends. We think it is an excellent offer, made to the rugby family across the country to try and help support clubs through the current crisis, but time is of the essence ! If you would like to order your tree through the club please contact Caroline on 07960582534, email at durhamcityrugby@btconnect.com or message via our social media feeds by Monday 23 November 10am and lets see if we can get to our minimum number of 40. Once the order has been placed we will liaise with individuals about payment, collection times and so on.

We're sure lots of club members will be buying a tree this year, so why not buy it via this scheme and give our club a much needed financial boost to end 2020?
