We launched our #FlyingHigh Crowdfunder campaign last Saturday, hoping for perhaps a few hundred pounds each day towards our target of £20,000. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine that on the eve of our first week, your donations and support would have raised £15,565! We've had contact from our rugby family old and new, near and far, friends who want to protect and support grassroots sport and even England Roses !

Our offer of a pledge of £8,000 from Sport England was subject to two conditions. On Day 3 we met the first, to have raised £5,000 and Day 5 brought our 100th supporter, so their pledge was made. Now we have reached a staggering £15,565, 77% of our total, and still with 21 days of our campaign remaining. Thank you one and all !

This is an 'all or nothing' campaign which means that we have to raise the remaining £4,435 to ensure we receive our target amount of £20,000. these are difficult days for grassroots sports but we love our rugby club and are proud of the heritage, commitment and achievements of our members past and present. Every donation - great or small - will help us keep rugby on the park for over 300 Mini and Junior players as well as our Colts, Seniors, Vets and Women's squads, now and for the future.
