Club Captain Paul needs little introduction ! Starting his playing career at Blaydon aged 6, Paul joined the club in 2010 and first pulled on a blue and gold shirt in an away game against Cleckheaton. Quickly establishing himself in the team, Paul is now captaining the side for the seventh successive season and he cites his proudest moment in May 2019, lifting the Cup to make club history by winning the Senior County Cup and league title in the same season for the first time in 147 years ! Last season he scored an impressive 317 points, coming from 3 tries, 133 conversions and 12 penalties. Paul has also represented Durham County.Known to his team-mates as 'Vegas', Paul's favourite rugby moment was during an away game at Barnard Castle, watching Bedders scold Denty !! We need to know more !
