A huge thank you to Yarm who agreed to the DCRFC U9's joining them for a tri-fixture with Stockton. DCRFC played some strong rugby and came away unbeaten.

Durham Reds 20 v Stockton 5
Stockton’s first game and they started hard with big tackles, pushing Durham out of touch at every chance. Durham started slowly with tackles but picked up relying on Ben W strong tackling which he did with his usual enthusiasm. Jake D and Jack followed Ben's lead. Scores Jack x 3 and Hayden x1.

Durham Reds 25 v Yarm 5
Good team playing with lots of passing and the tackling had improved too with Hayden doing some great running. Single tries from Jake D, Ben W., Ben R., Jack, Hayden.

Durham Whites 25 v Stockton 5
There was lots of good passing in this game particularly long passes between Will B and Alexander. Joseph did some great running. Stockton weren't as successful with their tackles this time. Tries scored by Will B, Eddie, Joseph, Alexander x2.

Durham Whites 15 v Yarm 0 (only played 5 mins as pitch was needed)
Played well with lots of good running and used Stocktons play of running the opposition into touch – well done. Scoters Eddie, Joseph, Alexander.

Durham Blues Squad: Will C, Alex C, Oliver, Conor, Ben G, Nicholas, William Mc - 1, Dylan, Oscar

Good even game with William being the star player with lots of running and tackles. Tries scored by Conor, William McK.

Durham Blues 20 v Yarm 10
Good game played with lots of tackles and passing amongst the team. Scores Nicholas x2, William McK x 2.

Two DCRFC teams played each other and drew 20 v 20 (Blues and Whites). The scores were Conor x2, Alexander, William Mc x2, Eddie, Joseph, Will B. The Blues were slow to tackle with Joseph doing some great running with the ball, Will B and Alexander showing fab passing to score the last try. Connor made great try with Ben G doing a massive tackle.

The Durham Blues then played the Durham Reds and the Reds won 20 points to nil. Scores were Jack M x 4.
Good running during the game from Ben R, tackling was disappointing but Jack scored some good tries – a useful game.
