Solid Performance gives City 12-0 win

Having met Carlisle at the start of the season City knew they would need a solid performance once again to keep Carlilse at bay, and despite the poor weather conditions and a scrappy first half, the City squad again came good and secured another victory against the Cumbrians. With a try either side of half time City came away winners 12-0, but on reflection the players felt they could improve and be more effective, particularly going into the second game against DMP. Again the squad had the opportunity to try new combinations and gain valuable experience in different positions which will prove invaluable as the squad progresses this season. The good news is that we have at least one more fixture against Carlisle this season and we look forward to heading across there later in the season.
