John Williamson 1988 is part of a 3rd generation, family run business with 5 other depots situated throughout Scotland. With a group turnover of around 50 million pounds, we are one of the biggest metal recycling groups in Scotland.
The Business moved to a fully concreted three acre site in Peterhead in January 2000. We have built a container loading facility to strengthen ties for export to Asia and Europe. The facility handles in excess of 2000 tonnes per month of ferrous & non ferrous metals. We are also an authorised ELV facility with the DVLA and a member of the British Metal Recycling Association (BRMA) . We process ferrous and non ferrous metals and a wide range of related products such as end of life vehicles (ELVs), packaging and domestic appliances.
