Jarrow Roofing currently sit 18th in Northern League Division One with 11 points from 12 games.

The Roofers were beaten 4-1 at home to North Shields on Saturday but claimed an impressive 2-1 win at home to Jarrow Roofing a week gone Tuesday.

Despite being a league above the Colliers, Jarrow Roofing required penalties to scrape past the Colliers in this competition last season.

With a depleted Jarrow Roofing squad travelling to the Welfare Park, the Colliers will fancy their chances.

Team News:

Shaun Smith will return to the squad for the Colliers while Liam Adamson is also gunning for a start having come off the bench at Brandon United on Saturday.

Chris Freeman should also return to the squad, but Jordan Hailes is expected to miss out.

Last meeting:

The two sides last met at this exact stage of this competition last season. It was in fact exactly a year ago tomorrow and Jarrow Roofing went through on penalties.

Calvin Smith and Paul Chow both netted to give Roofing a comfortable lead at half-time but a Nathan Renton brace pulled the score back to 2-2 only for Roofing to advance to the next round through penalties.

Following 5 penalties each, the score was level at 4-4 with Reece Kenney, Nathan Renton, Luke Page and Peter Jones all finding the net for Easington. However, Aaron Croft missed the deciding penalty and the visitors went through.
