The RFU have now confirmed that Rugby has returned to Phase A

Following news of the national lockdown, the RFU has moved back to Stage A of the Return to Rugby roadmap.

Unfortunately in simple terms all Community Rugby is now suspended until 2nd December 2020.

This is a legal requirement as the legislation prevents any gathering of more than 2 people and the exemption for amateur sport has been removed.

Two people are able to train together but cannot share equipment including the ball.

We share the frustrations of many and will return to Rugby as soon as it is lawful and safe to do so. We will of course provide updates when the situation changes.

RFU announces the Return to Rugby to Stage "D"
The reintroduction of limited contact training approved by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (‘DCMS’) from 1st September 2020.
The reinstatement of some contact activity is important to ensure players can continue to practice core skills and are able to start preparing and conditioning themselves appropriately as the game starts to return to normality with regular training and matches.

Ready 4 Rugby is a new and exciting non-contact game enabling two teams of up to 10 players to engage in training and match activity in their own club environment. Perfect to practice now we have moved to Stage "C" for our return to Rugby.
