It was really great to see the return of so many players, coaches, parents and supporters back to Eastbourne Rugby Club after a difficult, turbulent and restricted season last year.

It was fantastic to see all age groups out in force and once again playing rugby on our pitches and training areas, everyone seemed to also really enjoy the treat of post training Hot Dogs and sampling the multitude of cakes at our Parent, Coaching Associations Cake Stall. Not only were the cakes delicious (I did sample a few) the cake stall raised vital funds for our mini and youth age groups. A special thank you to Mel and Tilly MacCormick for manning the stalls throughout the day.

Registrations were once again lead by Suzanne Wood & a team of volunteers and as we have become accustomed went without a hitch.

Our Club President Bruce Hayter spent the morning meeting and greeting our fantastic team of Volunteers, Coaches, Team Admins and players and was tremendously impressed with the energy on show.

Welcome back everyone, I'm very much looking forward to a new season of rugby as I'm sure we all are.
