Who can participate in the event?

Do I need any special equipment to play?
No special equipment is needed, just some standard gym/running/sports clothing (shorts and t-shirt) and a good set of trainers.
How can I join or register for the event?
Information on joining is found on our website and Instagram account. You can register for the event by completing this form.
Will there be any social activities associated with the event?
Yes! There will be a food provided and the bar will be open after the session so you can chat to current members, learn more about the club and enjoy the (hopefully) sunny weather at the club house.
About the Club
How does the club ensure inclusivity?
The club is developing policies and practices to create a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies.
Will there be a changing room and shower facilities?
Memorial Park has 4 grass pitches and a 3G pitch for training that we share with the Kings Cross Steelers, East London and the Vixens. There are ample changing rooms and showering facilities and our club house has 2 bars and a function room for events.
I am not LGBTQ, can I play for you?
Yes - We are fully inclusive and welcome all players no matter their sexual identity.
Do you have a women's team?
No, we are a mixed club and set of teams. We currently play most regularly in the international gay rugby (IGR) touch league which is being newly developed across London. This aspires to be a mixed league which is actively looking to attract and include more non-male participants.
We also join tournaments across the UK and Europe which are mixed teams.
Do you have a Pathway to Rugby programme for new players?
Yes! This runs every year for the first few weeks of the season, and will cost £20. At the end.
How much is membership?
Our 2026 membership is £100, but you don’t need to commit until you’ve been to more than 2 training sessions. If you paid for Pathway to Rugby, the £20 will be deducted from your membership.
