East End Electric, once a modest touch rugby club, has transformed into a powerhouse on the fields. What started as a handful of rugby union enthusiasts passing the ball around to stay fit over summer has now blossomed into a vibrant community of he, she's and they's all of it's own!

Three Teams, One Spirit

Our growth has been electric! In just a year, we’ve expanded to three teams—each with its unique flair and camaraderie. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a rookie eager to learn, there’s a spot for you at East End Electric.

The Volts: Our top team, playing weekly in the touch league on Clapham Common. They weave through opponents like a charged current, leaving defenders in awe. Placing in the top eight at their first Touch My Brum Tournament in Birmingham, they fast becoming a force to be reckoned with on the touch rugby pitch.

The Amps: Our second team, a mix of experience and youthful exuberance. Playing in the IGR South Eastern league their agility and teamwork light up the pitch each month. They enjoyed their first tournament appearance at Touch my Brum this year continuing to learn and grow.

The Watts: Our newest squad for those newly starting out in the sport - the heartbeat of our club. They’re learning the ropes, but their enthusiasm is contagious. Watch them evolve into true rugby dynamos!
