Some points from the AGM held last night

For those who missed the AGM on 28th Jan, attached are some items that might be of interest to you .

Duelling Main Road. Work starts on the duelling of the main road outside the Calderglen Country Park in March 2019. Will take 18 months. We are told that there will always be a 2 way flow of traffic. Eventually there will be no right turn.

Comedy Club. The Sports Club is holding a fun night on the First Friday every month. £10. It would be great to have a good turnout from the players at this. Last one there were 12 of us there.

Skybox Main Hall. You can now watch a different channel to what is on in the small bar. There is a 65" TV to watch it on as well. Cricket?

New Club Committee. All the Committee positions have now been filled. I welcome back David Healy to the Club Secretary position. A list of Office bearers will be put on the Club web site soon.

Match Balls. Currently we have sold or awaiting payment for 25 out of 36 match balls. Please try to help with the last 11 balls. Family, friends etc. £30 each. To pay click on the link. https://mydonate.bt.com/events/ekccmatchballs2018/459553

Lotto. Again progress here 33 have people signed up to it. We need another 26 people to join. This will raise for the Club £1800. Mrs Kampman was last winner with £84 prize.

Subs. They are now due and the Membership Convener will be policing this. Please pay by standing order £21 a month for an adult member.

Sports Club AGM. This is on Wednesday 6th Feb at 7pm. This is open to all paid up members of the Sports Club. Find out what is happening and going to happen in the Sports Club. Have your say!

Shezan Tandoori Curry Night. This is booked for Tuesday 5th February. Starting 6.30pm The address is 1096 Cathcart Road, Glasgow G42 9XW. The excellent all you can eat buffet will be served by one of our Club sponsors. Adults £15 , children go half price. Invite your friends. The venue holds around 35 people. The restaurant will look after those who are Vegetation, gluten free and also prefer Western type food.

Indoor Nets. These continue at the John Wright Sport Centre at 8pm on Thursday night.
