Eccleston started the game well with the first try coming from a crossfield kick by danny court that finds craig holland 0-4.
The bulldogs ended up on the front foot after lions concieving penalties helping them down the field scoring two tries 12-4.eccleston then score a cheeky try from acting half alan callister going over 12-10

defence was on point for both teams in the second half with each team having a good go at each other until dave anders gets the ball off a short ball off danny court and crashes over 12-16 lions! Next try then comes from bulldogs 18-16! Lions get a penalty and take the 2, 18-18 then a penalty goes against lions with 1 minute to go bulldogs convert 20-18
