Jordan 'Old Jer' Rostron

Jordan is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his contribution as the inaugural Chairman of the club at its foundation in 1902

Alex B Hillis

Playing Number - 30

Alex is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his long service to the club. Alex was a scorer, player and became the club's second trasurer in 1902, holding the post for 55 years

Jim Fisher

Playing Number - 140

Jim is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his long service to the club. Mr Fisher became a member in 1910 and played into his seventies before being made a life member

W. Bretherton

Playing Number - 276

Mr Bretherton is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his outstanding performances for the club. Mr Bretherton became a member in the 1930s and recorded bowling figures of 9/7, 8/8, 8/13, 8/15 and 7/10

Amos Taylor

Playing Number - 296

Amos is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Amos played his first game in 1936 and was the longest serving member present at the club's centenary celebrations. In addition to his on-field representation, Amos was a life member and Secretary for 24 years

John Lawson Cort

Playing Number - 321

John is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. John began playing in the 1930s before leaving for East Africa in 1946. In his will, he left the club £97,000 for the improvement of facilities and continuation of cricket. A memorial stone reflecting this contribution is present on the changing room building

Robert 'Bob' Wolstenholme

Playing Number - 369

Bob is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Bob began playing for the club in 1941 and went on to successfully captain the club to the Bury & District League title in 1963. In 1976, Bob became the club President

Granville Hardman

Playing Number - 463

Granville is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of
his service to the club. Granville began his near 50-year association with the club in 1955. An excellent bowler, Granville took 64 wickets during the 1963 campaign, winning the league bowling prize

Tom Kidd

Playing Number - 489

Tom is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Tom started playing for the club in 1958 and in his time at Edenfield served both as captain and committee member

Tom Place

Playing Number - 470

Tom is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Tom started playing for the club in 1957 and in his time at Edenfield served both as captain and committee member

Ronnie Collinge

Ronnie is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Ronnie played for and captained the club and served on the committee - setting up the 100 club in 1970

Raymond Johnson

Playing Number - 497

Raymond is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Ray started his lengthy association with the club as a player in 1959 and captained the 2nd XI for many years. Following his playing career, he became Chairman of the club in 1976 holding the position for 18 years

Craig Crumbleholme

Playing Number - 548

Craig is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. A winner of the Bob Wolstenholme Trophy, Craig was a great 1st XI player and captain. He also served on the committee as Chairman. He also captain the new 3rd team when it was established

Alan Ogden

Playing Number - 543

Alan is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Alan represented the club as player and Secretary. Along with his wife, Cynthia, he organised the club dinners which raised much needed funds but perhaps his biggest legacy is the re-establishment of the junior teams in 1994

Peter Pye

Playing Number - 525

Peter is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Peter represented the club as a player and Secretary

David Alty

Playing Number - 541

David is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Although a player for the club, he is best remembered as Secretary, a role he held for 21 years

Jos Smithson

Playing Number - 588

Jos is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. Player and capitain, Jos was an excellent batsman breaking the North Manchester Cricket League batting record in 1979 with 886 runs in the season

Dave Blomley

Playing Number - 592

Dave is a 2020 inductee to the Edenfield Cricket Club Hall of Fame in recognition of his service to the club. As a batsman, Dave won the North Manchester Cricket League batting prize and during the late 1970s gave a match winning performance during the cup final
