Great win

Great seeing JP & Corky back in action after long layoffs, obviously not up to full fitness but still a big influence, JP pulling the strings and Corky getting faster as the game went on, Lewis Beckwith taking the Mantle with Rhys Davies not in action with work issues priority, Lewis did a great job taking high balls and some great tackles.
Rangers off to perfect start after two minutes Pat Wells going over but ref said double movement no try.
Ball moved very fast across the line and Pilks scoring good try in corner after 5minutes ,Hodson quickly over with no con .0-4.
Some hard tackling for next 10minutes with Pilks knocking ball on Leon took ball after numerous hands moved it across line for him in corner with fantastic touch line conversion from Matt Bewsher, 6-4, 15minutes gone.
Egremont tackling well stopping Pilks in their tracks and then another text book try with JP quick hands for Matt Bewsher come through at great pace moving ball quickly into Tom Horners hands right on the line and as we all know Tom doesnt miss these chances with easy conversion for Matt 12-4, 25 minutes gone but still anyones game.
Pilks moving ball well and going in for try with Kieron Glenn putting great tackle on Pilks stand off Lynch saving certain try, 30minutes yellow card for Ryan Barnes making last 10 minutes a bit tense but Pilks making a mistake offside for Matt Bewsher convert penalty 14-4 Half time.

Second half coming down the slope pilks had their tails up but Lewis Beckwith proving his worth with some very good tackling, Pilks started moving ball across the line for Knapper go in corner no conversion.14-8 for rangers.
Rangers moving ball well and played across line for Kieron didnt need a second chance going over for good try with Matty Henson convert 20-8 for Egremont Rangers 50 minutes gone next ten minutes back and forth for both sides until Egremont Rangers kept possession long enough to move the ball into open play for Pat Wells burst through tackles and score a very good try ,due reward for his hard days work...24-8 , Pilks took short kick off and got to the ball first moving ball quickly for Frodsham go in but touch judge said no try foot in touch, Next try was one all the Egremont Rangers players and supporters wanted to see and it was Paul Corkhill take one of his famous dipper moves going under the defence and score a great try, welcome back Corky.28-8 but Pilks wouldnt give in Ashton scoring good try but no avail with JP Showing his class moving ball very quickly for Leon Crellin finish off with good try, 32-14 for Egremont. Upwards and onwards.
