For internal reasons, that we're not privy to, AFC Bingley have folded. It's a shame our association has ended so quickly because they were an up and coming club and the affiliation promised real benefits. To reassure everyone, all club monies paid are being refunded and we have no other commitments with AFC Bingley to worry about. We will also continue to look for a potential 'parent club' as a future outlet to open age football.

Meantime, we have been talking with Bingley Juniors about the future of Riverside, which to be fair, Bingley have used in the past. A ground share was a possible option.

However, the outcome for us is better than that! Bingley will have use of Riverside and Eldwick Juniors ... will have full access to the pitches at Crossflats Junior School. The pitches are near to the canal. This will give us more space and flexibility to fit in more teams and more matches. Further details about the new venue will be released when we start to use it.

It's certainly an unexpected change we're having to announce but it's still a good outcome. So goodbye Riverside, hello Canalside! Go Eldwick!
