Parekh and Taylor save the day

A superb win against fellow promotion challengers and a 10th win - and still top of "K". Basford OBs set a stiff challenge with 180/5. Kamran Ul-Haq was as steady as ever. However, despite useful top order contributions (much changed with a number of regulars on holiday) the Thirds were in poor shape at 106/6. In recent weeks Aman Parekh and Charlie Taylor have been the main wicket takers, but with bats in hand they could not be parted to reach the target with 4 overs to play with. A season's defining win? We shall see.
