In a weekend where 40 plus players were n/a causing all kinds of selection headaches, one of those called from the grazing in the retirement pasture was former First XI captain Alan Harrison. He has not lost his touch as his run a ball 82 set Caythorpe what might well have been too tough a task. Fine support came from Phil Davey and Ryan Glossop. Caythorpe had already lost a wicket before the heavens opened - as it did throughout the county. No matter, although 1 point shy of top dogs Ruddington, the 3rd XI are second and bounce up another league. Well done to all involved.
