Mini and Junior players - The Academy

Ellingham & Ringwood RFC is an accredited RFU club and an official club partner to the London Irish Premiership rugby team, benefiting from their coaches and players visiting the club to help coach players.

New players are always welcome and the Academy is offering 3 free rugby taster sessions to all children who want to try rugby this year. Simply come down on registration day or one of the training sessions to meet the coaches and see what great fun rugby is.

Training and registration starts on Sunday 6th September at 9:30am. The under 6 to under 12 boys and girls will be at the club on Parsonage Barn Lane and under 13 to under 16 boys as well as under 13 to under 18 girls will be at Poulner Junior School.

Girl’s rugby
New this year is the centre of excellence for girl’s rugby. The girl’s have enjoyed great success recently with many achieving county honours and one selected for England duties. By encouraging more girls to play rugby and providing them with excellent coaching support, the club aims to build one of the strongest girl’s sections in Hampshire.
