We're proud to announce that four of our former players will be appearing in the women's Six Nations later today.
Bryony Cleall will be starting at tight head prop for England against Scotland and her twin Poppy will be starting at number 8. They'll be facing Lisa Cockburn, who's been selected as a finisher at loose head prop for Scotland. Later in the afternoon, Donna Rose will be making her debut for Wales at tight head prop against France.
Pete Cleall, the father of Bryony and Poppy, who knew all four players well when he was our under 18's girl's manager, commented on Twitter earlier this week that 'it was not a bad result from one team from a small club in the New Forest'. Steve Benson, the coach of that team added, 'It's not surprising we won a lot of trophies back in that period'.
