It feels like and is a long time since we were facing the start of this pandemic in Lockdown 1. The sunshine made it easier and many people supported our local Foodbank by dropping supplies off in the club car park. The situation is harder now and the weather isn't any easier either but our community continues to need our support. Our friends at The Fish made a wonderful donation last week, gifting all their (over 40) unused Christmas puddings for the Foodbank. Now we need tinned custard. Mid January has long been identified as a low point in most peoples' lives. This is more the case this year than ever. Everything we can do as a club to support those in need has never been more important.
The club car park will be open from 9am-12pm every Saturday for Foodbank drop-offs. Please try and help, if you can
