Its been a few years since EFC were at IDCFL finals day, so there was a buzz of excitement as players gathered pre-match. A special boost to the team was Pastor Ants driving from 'Up North' that morning to join us in pre-prayer!

Managers Player - Luke
Players Player - Henry 'The Rock' sweeper keeper

All awards were well deserved for some amazing performances and commitment to EFC...

The Final - We always felt being drawn on the 4g pitch that this could help us play our pass and move football on a carpet rather than a mud bath and it showed with early pressure paying off when Joel's cross drops to Oba who shoots low for 1-0.

With a massive pitch EFC were able to dominate, winning every ball and soon after Mark Thomas assists Benji to chip the keeper going in off the inside of the bar 2-0.

Upney start to settle and Henry makes a couple of saves and catches until Di Cap slides Benji though with some fancy step overs beating the keeper for 3-0. Then just before half time a bit of a goal mouth melee and Oba fires home for 4-0 at the break.

A couple of changes from the Gaffa and it only takes 10 mins for sub David to slide Oba in for his hatrick and 5-0. And thats were it ended with a comfortable EFC win.
