We are a newly formed Anglo - Dutch Vets team (2010) made up of players initially from Emmen RFC in North East Holland and Braintree RFC in Essex. The respective Captains are Ben Oudman and Christy McCann. the idea of "Empty Brains RFC" is to encourage Vets Rugby within Holland which has a big drop off from the age of 35 onwards. Having toured home and away in 2008 and 2009 a bond was formed with both clubs and the mad idea formed in 2010. we hope to have our first fixture in Belgium in the early season of 2010 and then each side visiting the other country every 2 years, meaning there is a fixture either home or away each season promoting the Vets spirit.
