Trevor Foreman carrying the Cricket World Cup Trophy onto the pitch , and placing it on the plinth, in front of thousands of people, prior to the teams coming out for the national anthems and start of the Bangladesh v Afganistan match match.

The club nominated Trevor to be a Trophy Carrier for his tireless work for both the Cricket Club – and our All Star Juniors. Trevor has played cricket for the Club Senior side for over a decade and has been a stalwart with his batting, bowling and captaincy. He has also assisted the Club Committee in its fund-raising capacity by finding numerous grants to allow the club to invest in its nets, maintenance equipment – and recently on the rebuilding of our new garage block. Furthermore, Trevor also assists with the All Stars training program for our U7 children, encouraging the grass roots of the sport to take up the game – and developing them into both Junior and Senior players.
