Sykesy’s former clubs include Bishop’s Stortford, Aveley, Canvey Island and most recently Brentwood Town and Concord Rangers in the Isthmian League North.

Sykesy played a key part in the Aveley side that secured back to back promotions to the Isthmian Premier League and the National League South by scoring 49 goals during his time at the club.
