IGNATIANS STRUT THEIR STUFF AGAINST HACKNEY

ENFIELD IGNATIANS made light of the slippery conditions by carrying too many guns for Hackney following their 14-6 victory at Spring Hill on Saturday (October 31), writes Jonathan Landi.

The visitors clicked into gear early in this game and their slick handling effectively wrapped the game up at the half-way stage when Ignatians were 10-1 in front. They eased off in the third and fourth quarters but by then it was all done and dusted.

The rout ensured that Ignatians are now unbeaten after four Ready4Rugby Middlesex North-East pool games following prior wins against Southgate, Saracens Amateurs and Old Grammarians.

They are scheduled to complete their first round of games away to Finsbury Park on November 7th, but whether that game goes ahead will be dictated by the new protocols in the event of a second government lockdown.

A FULL REPORT WILL BE PUBLISHED IN THE READY4RRUGBY SECTION
