Tietoa joukkueestamme

Tervetuloa Espoo Rugbyn sivuille! Klubimme perustettiin syksyllä 2013, tavoitteenaan saada espoolaiset ja länsihelsinkiläiset innostumaan rugbysta. Miesten joukkueemme pelaa tällä hetkellä 1. divisioonassa. Joukkue työskentelee myös aktiivisesti paikallisten espoolaisten koulujen kanssa opettamalla lapsille rugbya. Ice Bearsin treeneissä on aina avoimet ovet, eli kuka tahansa voi liittyä mukaan – olitpa sitten aivan uusi rugbyn pelaaja, vaihtamassa lajia, tai rugby-veteraani, joka haluaa jatkaa pelaamista. Kaikentasoiset, -ikäiset, -kokoiset, -muotoiset ja -taitoiset ovat tervetulleita mukaan.

About Our Club

Welcome to Espoo Rugby. Our club was founded in Autumn 2013, with the aim of involving more people in Espoo and the west Helsinki region with rugby. We currently have a men’s team playing in the Finnish Division 1, and are actively working with local Espoo schools teaching rugby to kids. There is an open-door policy at Ice Bears training sessions and anyone is welcome to come along – whether you are brand new to rugby; if you played another sport before and want to try something different; or if you are a rugby veteran and want to get back to the game. All skill levels, ages, sizes, shapes and abilities are welcome.
