Now the coaches have to get in a huddle and make a very hard selection. That selection is about assembling the best teams possible that will perform against our county opponents, of which it looks to be many this year. That doesn't mean a team full of forwards, midfielders or defenders, and sometimes means placing players into new positions. It is about talent, flexibility, coach ability and camaraderie.

Selections will be sent individually and officially by email - both yes and no. A no just means not this cycle; whilst disheartening, thats not the end of your county journey and won't be the only disappointment in your hockey career from experience. I task the coaches to assemble the best squads they can and sometimes that means individual talents miss out unlike at Club level.

SO announcements will be sent out after half term. DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING until you receive an official email.

In the meantime we are consulting with the group over kit changes. Thats about receiving your opinions as players. Nothing else.
