Of course, ESSC lost 3-1 with John Griffiths getting on the score sheet. Our opponents Aston were in John Fathers Oxfordshire Junior Shield last weekend and were victorious in progressing to the fourth round with a 2-1 win over Wheatley Youth, Graham Carter scoring both goals.

Barry Stratford: Pre-Match Thoughts

"We go into tomorrow's game still with a lot of confidence despite last weeks defeat as we played very well and were unlucky. We face an Aston side who are just below us in the league and so this is another 6 pointer for us, but a game which I think we may be able to get something from.

We do make a couple of changes this week, Ash Bowerman is unavailble so Daniel Willis will have the no.1 shirt. We also welcome back Max Leach who was away last week. Also I am extremely pleased to welcome new signing Dan King into the squad, who signed from Premier Division side West Witney in the week."

Head-to-Head

This will be the first competitive match played between these two sides.
