We look ahead to tomorrow's clash between Eynsham SSC and Combe in our second Premier Division encounter at Oxford Road.
The Social were on the wrong end off a 3-0 scoreline last weekend against Chipping Norton Town in their first even fixture in the top-flight of Witney & District football. A Dan Bott brace and a goal from Mark Corbett saw off Eynsham SSC.
In a interview with Barry Stratford this week he went on to say, "We welcome Combe to Oxford Road tomorrow knowing we are in for another tough game, but we would have learnt from last weeks defeat so hopefully know what to expect from this in this division. We welcome back a few players after their unavailability last weekend, Matthew Hall, Tom Radburn, Matty Walker with Nick Edwards in the squad hoping to see off his injury suffered in pre-season.
Dan King is still suspended and Nathan Prestidge is unavailable. We aslo lost Ryan Stockford this week who joined our village rivals, Eynsham. However, Ralph Rankin keeps his place in the first team after his decent performance against Chipping Norton Town.
