Firstly the committee would like to thank all coaches, players and parents for there continued support these difficult times. The effect of the poor weather last season was then compounded by the end of the football season due to COVID-19. The early end to the season was disappointing for us all across the Fairfield community.

Further to Mr Drakefords announcement earlier this week we welcome the opportunity to start back and hopefully weather and COVID permitting we can look forward to a great season ahead for all our teams. From Monday 9th November training can return. This also coincides with the start of our winter training. Unfortunately as this is a major expense for the club and the time has come for us to request sub payments for the forthcoming season, we have delayed this as long as possible. Please note – due to Covid, we are offering reduced subs this season! All money that comes into the club is spent on our players, or on developing the club. As you may have seen we have started a project to improve the bakery pitch with work having already begun.
On the other hand we are aware of the economic climate, so if you are struggling financially please speak to a Committee member.

*Temporary Suspension of all Football Activities*

The Football Association may suspend all football activities from time to time.
Should the Football Association suspend all football activities the Chair of the Club shall call an Extra Ordinary General Meeting of all club members to consider what action to take as soon as sufficient information is known about the likely form and duration of that suspension.

The ability to return to training is a fantastic step forward in terms of the club leaving this pandemic behind and moving on with life, post COVID! A big thank you also to all of the Club’s coaches, committee, helpers and parents for their continued support through these difficult times.
