FAIRFORD Town have announced two further signings for the 2016/17 season.
Nathan Blackford has joined from Highworth Town, for whom he scored six goals in 40 first team appearances for the Worthians last term. Blackford can play in midfield or up front and also has Hellenic League experience with New College and Shrivenham as well as a spell with Swindon Supermarine.
Defender Chris Jackson has also signed after linking up with the Reds for pre-season training. He was a regular for Highworth before sustaining a serious injury playing Sunday football but made a comeback with the Worthians last term. He has also spent time with Malmesbury Vics and scored for them during a win at Cinder Lane during the 2014/15 season.
Blackford made his debut in the season opener at Abingdon United with Jackson coming off the bench as a second half substitute.
