The 2025/26 season has been full of brilliant netball, amazing team spirit, exciting club milestones and plenty of moments to celebrate both on and off the court. Across the club, we have seen huge commitment from players, captains, coaches, supporters and committee members, and it has been fantastic to watch all teams continue to grow throughout the year.
This season also brought some of our best social moments yet. Our Christmas do at Rocksalt was so much fun and was a lovely chance for everyone to get together away from the court. We also had the most support we have ever had at home matches, which made such a difference to the atmosphere on Saturdays. The end-of-season picnic on Wimbledon Common was another highlight and a perfect way to celebrate everything the club has achieved this year.
Away from netball, our girls have continued to go above and beyond. From HYROX events to half marathons and full marathons, there have been so many achievements to celebrate outside the club. We have also had lots of exciting personal news across Fairlands, including engagements and pregnancies, making it a really special year for so many of our girls.
A Team Report
The A Team have had a fantastic season, with league finishes that reflect the hard work and commitment shown throughout the year.
In the Met League, the team finished 2nd and secured promotion from Division 2 to Division 1, which is an amazing achievement. In the Surrey League, following promotion to Prem B last season, the team had another strong year and finished 3rd overall.
These results are a real credit to the squad, who have turned up week after week with a brilliant attitude and strong team spirit. The team faced plenty of challenges along the way, including games with only seven players, players covering out of position and the occasional post-social Saturday performance, which makes the results even more impressive.
It has also been incredible to see all three adult teams secure promotion this season, with the C Team achieving promotion in both leagues. This reflects the hard work, commitment and progress across the whole club.
Looking ahead, we wish Dharshni the very best of luck at university. She will be missed, and we hope she has the best time. Now attention turns to summer league, the AGM and, before we know it, the return of Saturday morning netball.
Love,
Em and Char

C Team Report
The C Team have had a fantastic 2025/26 season, earning promotion in both leagues β an incredible achievement.
In the Met League, the team faced some exceptionally tough opposition, making their 2nd place finish even more impressive. There were several nail-biting scorelines throughout the season, and the squad showed huge resilience under pressure.
In the Surrey League, the team finished just one point behind the league leaders, while also achieving the highest goals scored in the division with an incredible 691 goals.
One of the standout moments of the season came early on against CMO. As a newly formed team still building combinations, the squad found themselves five goals down at half time. They fought back to level the game at 28β28 by the end of the third quarter, before going on to secure a brilliant five-goal win. It was a real testament to the resilience, determination and team spirit within the squad, alongside huge support from the sidelines.
The team also showed incredible consistency across the season, remaining unbeaten throughout November, December and January. Despite injuries, holidays and constant changes in availability, players stepped up week after week. Younger members of the squad became huge assets, not only to the C Team but across the wider club too.
Most importantly, this season has been full of exciting netball, huge progression and a team culture everyone should be proud of. The growth in confidence, versatility and togetherness has been brilliant to see, and promotion in both leagues is a thoroughly deserved reward for all the hard work put in throughout the year.
