At Fairlands Netball Club, we’re all about community, and that extends beyond the court. Over the years, we’ve been proud to support several incredible charities through proceeds from our tournament raffles. Some of the charities we support include Breast Cancer UK, the Stroke Association, and, most recently, Young Lives vs Cancer – all of which have a special place in our hearts.

Young Lives vs Cancer is an amazing charity that helps young people with cancer and their families navigate the emotional and practical challenges that come with such a difficult journey. They provide specialised support from social workers who really make a difference in the lives of these families.At the end of last season, the committee made the decision to donate to Young Lives vs Cancer, a particularly special charity to our club. We also showed our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Day by wearing pink during training, as a way to stand in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer.

We’re incredibly proud to support these charities and it’s all thanks to the commitment from our club community. Together, we can keep making a positive impact for those who need it most.
