Falkland won on Duckworth Lewis method.
On a day very far removed from what we expect of midsummer, and by no means suitable for cricket, Falkland beat Corstorphine by 6 wickets on the Duckworth/Lewis method in a game reduced to 35 Overs per side. Corstorphine won the toss and rather surprisingly in the circumstances, chose to bat. They had been playing for a matter of 4 Overs before the rain came on and suspended play for two hours. After the resumption, they reached 152 in their 35 Overs with some fine hitting, but such were the vagaries of Duckworth Lewis that the computer decided that 152 would WIN the game for Falkland!
Falkland's big problem was the weather, but Ryan Hepburn hit 46 before having to retire for family reasons, then Alex Bychkov and Nick Lockyer saw Falkland home for a win which leaves Falkland joint top of the Scottish League Eastern Division One at the halfway mark, along with Forfarshire and Glenrothes. It was another satisfactory win for Falkland.
