We are now in March, the clocks are due to go forward and the days are getting longer! Thoughts should now be turning to cricket and the season ahead at FCC!

Senior Indoor nets starts Monday 18 March from 8pm at Wilmington Boys Grammar School - come along and join us and dust off the cobwebs and get ready for the season. If numbers are good then we plan to do nets along with some fielding and technical work. Feel free to invite along any new members. Each session is £5 or if you pay in advance for the block then it is £20. These run for 5 weeks ahead of our move outdoors when the warmer weather will hopefully return. Juniors aged 15 and over are welcome to attend if they wish.

Registration Night is on Friday 29 March this is for the whole club including junior members. The club will be open from 5:30 so that juniors and their parents can come along and sign up for the 2019 season. Those who attend are welcome to hang around and have a drink in the clubhouse whilst the little ones burn off some steam outside. Senior registration will be from 7:30 onwards. If you want to pop along earlier for a drink then please do. Tom will be emailing out forms and details on fees shortly.

NatWest Ground Force weekend is on 6/7 April this year. Make sure this date is in the diary and please make an effort to attend to lend a hand. Turnout for the dates in February was rather disappointing and so not as much work was done as would have been liked. There is a long list of jobs in the clubhouse, so please bring along painting, gardening and any other tools and materials you may have. Richard, Chris and Phil have put in a huge amount of effort in the off season so lets give them an extra bit of help - it is your club after all!
