Farnley Falcons were formed on October the 12th 2005 by Adam Harrison and Andrew Purdy. The first team to form on this date were the under 15s side. We started out with a few rugby balls, a stack of cones and a kit that we borrowed from the local high school.
The first game that the U 15s played was away at Underbank, we scored 10 points that day and the lads gave us 100% effort but unfortunately we lost.

Due to the interest created by the U15s we decided that in December 2005 we would form a U 12s side. This is a first for any club to have two successful sides running in less than a year.

As a club we are very proud of every thing we have achieved in such a short period of time
