Older teams from Fawley RFC Juniors were excited to return to summer training on the 8th of July after a prolonged absence due to the pandemic. Following strict health and safety procedures from the RFU and government guidelines relating to team sports, youngsters were able to enjoy being back on the pitches at Gang Warily. Whilst current restrictions prohibit usual training involving close contact, players are now able to resume their fitness training in preparation for the autumn season. The teams are not only benefitting physically from being back with their coaches but are enjoying the time with their team mates, in socially distanced bubbles.

Do you know someone aged 4-16 that is interested in joining a thriving and dynamic rugby team? Fawley RFC is recruiting all interested youngsters from school years R to 11 and would love to hear from you. Whether you're new to the game, or enjoy it at school and want to know more or are a more experienced player, everyone is welcome at our club. We are excited to be thinking about the new Autumn season and welcome new additions to all of our teams, as well as any family or friends who would like to get involved. Current restrictions for Covid-19 are not dampening our enthusiasm and we are all looking forward to being able to train in whatever capacity the government guidelines permit in September. We are a friendly bunch who enjoy the benefits of supportive families and experienced coaches and first aiders. You can even 'try before you buy' and come along to a free taster session at Gang Warily on Sunday mornings. Dates for the new season will be announced shortly, but those aged over 13 can come along to our summer training sessions on Wednesday evenings to see what we're all about.
