CLUB RULES & FINES

You will see below a list of club rules and accompanying fines which we have put into place for the forthcoming season. Please read these carefully and familiarise yourselves with each of them. The team Managers will be responsible for applying these misdemeanours and he will keep a week-by-week record of each player to ensure that they are tracked and payments are received. You will be expected to pay these fines to your Team Captain or Vice-Captain within 7-days (i.e. the following Saturday or Sunday after committing the offence). Please note that these fines will not be applied to any pre-season friendly matches or to pre-season training unless stated by a Team Manager. And will be saved and put behind Bar for End Of Season Do.

Training

1. Lateness £2.00
£3.00 (persistent offenders)

Turning up late to training will result in a club fine unless your Manager or a member of the coaching staff has been contacted by phone, email or text and is aware of the potential lateness. 2. Missing a training session £1.00

Failure to attend any training session will result in a club fine unless your Manager has given you prior consent.

MatchDay
TURN UP IN THE RIGHT FRAME OF MIND. POSITIVE AND FOCUSED, AND SWITCH OFF FROM EVERYDAY LIFE SUCH AS WORK/HOME STRESS, NAGGING MISSUS AND KIDS. THIS IS YOUR BREAK FROM ALL THIS, AND FOR US TO ENJOY.

1. Dirty Boots £1.00

Your Manager will check your boots on match day and if they are, in his opinion, ‘dirty’ then you will incur a club fine. Cleaning your boots in the changing room on match day does not constitute having ‘clean boots’ and you will therefore still receive the fine.

2. Late Arrival £2.00

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late on match day, whether playing at home or away, then a club fine will be imposed. However, this rule will not apply if you have contacted your Manager by phone, email or text so that he is aware of the potential lateness.

3. Not Tuning up for Game £5.00

For not turning up for a game when you have already informed the Manager that you would be coming, This is disrespectful to your team mates & Managers just a call or text will do. Failure to respond to this will result in a club fine being incurred.

4. Missing Kit £1.00 per item
£3.00 (persistent offenders)

If you turn up to a match without your full kit (i.e. SUBS, boots, shin pads, tape etc) then you will receive a fine for each missing item. SUBS; £5 1st 11, Sub £3, Indoor Training £2.

5. Club Tracksuit £2.00 Per Item
£5.00(persistent offenders) TRACKSUIT PURCHASING

We are just looking into getting Tracksuits remember most teams have pay signing on fees so everyone should be able to buy a Tracksuit.

The club tracksuits will be available to purchase for £30 and all players/management are expected to purchase one. These are required for all games so we keep our strict dress code in tact. Payment plans will be setup which any player taking this option MUST stick to the payment. Failure to wear your club tracksuit to every match will result in a club fine (£2.00 for no bottoms and £2.00 for no jacket.)

We need to start looking like a football team and not a bunch of ‘street thugs’ which is what we have been portrayed as by some of the opposition teams and referee’s. We need to start a game with an even advantage as the opposition and that starts from the minute we get to the ground. The saying “first impressions last” is a true fact. We are not a bunch of thugs so let’s start looking more professional with how we dress and how we act / prepare before games.

6. Mobile Phones £2.00

All phones should have ringer turned off whilst in the changing room. If your phone is heard ringing then a club fine will be handed out. Obviously we appreciate that there are certain times when phones need to be kept on in case of an emergency.

7. Communication £2.00

Your Manager will send you a text or an email regarding the fixture for the forthcoming week every Tuesday or Wednesday. Failure to respond to this by a Friday by 9:00pm will result in a club fine being incurred.

8. Booking for Dissent* £10.00

If you are booked for dissent in any game then this will result in an additional club fine – you will still need to pay Berks &Bucks FA for your actual booking (£8.00).

9. Sending off for Dissent* £20.00

If you are dismissed from a game due to an act of dissent then this will result in an additional club fine – you will still need to pay Berks & Bucks FA for your actual sending off (£35.00 as standard). We are coming down heavily on dissent this season as 90% of the bookings that we received last year as a club were in respect of this offence.

We have been specifically asked to make big improvements in this area and to cut down on player dissent otherwise it will have consequences; we will lose players for important games during or at the end of the season.

Club Discipline

1. Berks & Bucks FA Payments £20.00
