“ I couldn’t be more proud of the boys today, following a tough game last weekend after a long lockdown, today’s result showed the character and the desire the boys have.

Before the match I asked the boys to give me everything they have for the next 2 hours and leave nothing on the pitch and even when we were 4 up the desire and the work rate they showed to keep a clean sheet was incredible.

There is no secret we have been working so hard on our defensive shape and organisation to make us harder to beat and today it all came together.

The biggest positive for me was the togetherness the boys showed and the pure desire to win a football, if you ask any manager they would say that is a great platform to build a successful football team from.

The only negative was the pubs were shut and we couldn’t celebrate the win together.”
