Darlaston were taught a lesson in how to entertain and play first division football.
Two goals down inside the opening two minutes wasn't the best of starts, and despite Stuart Hillman reducing the arrears on 20 minutes and the loss of josh tolley through injury five minutes later, Darlaston never really got out of first gear.
Having struggled for the past two years at the wrong end of the table, Matthew Fishers Willenhall side looked well organised and punished the hosts whenever they made a mistake.
Following the early brace by Stephen Holmes, it was team mate Jack Dale who made it 3-1 just before the break.
Holmes then celebrated his hat-trick on 68 minutes before Dale set up his brace ten minutes later with a lightning strike which gave debut keeper Daniel Elwell no chance.
Holmes then hit the hosts for six on 88 minutes as he celebrated his double brace, and clock up back to back wins for the Wednesfield based side.
Darlaston are in cup action next Saturday when they meet the U21 side of Droitwich Spa away in the Smedley Crooke Cup.
Their next league game is on Saturday 31st of August, when they travel to Team Dudley managed by former Wolves star Lee Mills.
Attendance 81.
